The wait is over–Eye of the Storm, my fourth album, is now available at whatever price you’d like to pay, including the great low price of free! Check it out over on my Bandcamp page, or simply click this picture below, and get your hands on some electronic goodness!
So yeah, you read the title correctly. I gave Weird Al the dubstep treatment on his awesome song “White ‘n’ Nerdy,” and this is what came out. You can download it from SoundCloud, I think, if you’re so interested. Enjoy!
I’ve recently been enjoying a song called “Don’t Step On My Sneakers,” by a New York City-based rap group called The Beatards. The original song is a very upbeat, very infectious, slightly dubstep-inspired rap tune, which you can listen to here on YouTube. Just so happened that I was able to get the a capella (vocals-only) track off their website, so I threw it on top of an original beat I created. Enjoy!
I recently had the privilege of contributing two tracks to this unofficial but still very OCRemix-related album. It’s a two-disc digital release, remixing most of the Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages soundtrack. Both of my tracks are on the second disc, but download the entire thing and see what you think! There’s a lot of great music here to be had, so enjoy!
As you may be able to tell, I’m doing some work on this here site. Pardon the messy look for a while, if you’d be so kind, as I’m continuing to work around here.
In the meantime, enjoy this remix of the demo song from FL Studio 6 that I did a while back. One of my favorite remixes I’ve done so far, honestly, even if it is quite cheesy. Right-click here and hit “save as” or “save target as” to download, or just listen below.
This is a new track I completed a little while ago. It’s meant to be played in a continuous loop – like in a game environment or something, where you’re fighting a boss, or maybe for a title screen, or whatever. Enjoy!
For this post, I’m giving y’all a couple links to a few remixes I’ve done for fellow indie electronica-head DJ Kenneth A. I’ve had the privilege of remixing him a few times back in the day, so here are some MP3s for you to enjoy!

Well, I’m super-excited as I write this. I just found out that a remix I did of the intro music from Dark Cloud 2, a role-playing video game for the Playstation 2, just got posted to OCRemix.org! Now, in case you don’t know, OCR is the largest video game remix community on the internet, and there are a ton of mixes on the site that could only be described as pure genius. It’s very difficult to get a track approved, as each submitted track goes through a lengthy and thorough judging process. I’ve submitted a few tracks in the past, and they’ve been turned down. Well, finally, this one made it through the judging panel and onto the front page of OCR! The track is titled “Before Everything Happened,” and it can be downloaded here. While you’re there, do yourself a favor and browse the site’s song archives, as there are a ton of awesome tracks. You might even find a remix from one of your favorite video games. Enjoy!
Welcome to the brand-new WordPress version of FlexstyleMusic.com. If you’ve visited the old site in the past, everything that was there is now here. Biography, free downloads, all that good stuff. If you’re new, welcome!
This new site is intended to be updated more than once a year. I’m hoping to be able to share my music more easily with all y’all, and not have to necessarily rely on any other website to get my music out there. Right now, I’m finding SoundCloud to be useful, but I’m exploring other options as well, most notably Uvumi. I used to be with TheSixtyOne.com, but the site’s designers decided to go out on a limb with a totally new, totally useless design.
Whatever. You didn’t come to this site to hear me whine, you came here for music! Here, have some music. This song is a remix of a very creative indie band called Evan Brightly, and all their songs are available to stream for free on their website. Click play below to hear my remix of their song “Light, All Light!”
